3. Safety Distances

Within a radius of 100 cm in front of and 40 cm

aroundthestove,ammable,combustible,orheat-

sensitive materials (e.g. furniture, wood or plastic

panelling, curtains, etc.) are not allowed to be loca-

tedintheheatradiatingareaofthereboxwindow

(g.1).

Behind the stove, outside the area of radiation, a

distance of 15 cm or 12 cm (when situated in a cor-

ner)mustbemaintainedtoanyammablematerials

(g.1).

WARNING!

Flammable ooring materials (e.g. wood,

laminate, carpeting etc.) must be protected

with a oorplate made of non-combustible

material (e.g. tiles, safety glass, slate, or

sheet steel).

The size of the oorplate must be lar-

ger than the base of the stove by at least

60 cm in front and at least 22 cm at the

sides of the stove (g. 2).
